The amounts aren't what galls me. It's how the sleeping drooling halfwits actually believe that the economy is doing better simply because the pResident Monkey Boy tells them it is. There is going to be a large number of suburban braintrusts who vote for King George II because of this so-called tax cut even though it'll mean that they're probably paying more taxes (like property taxes and sales taxes) elsewhere.
