It's hard to go wrong with your basic Rival Crock Pot. Just pick a size and design that's right for you.

that's what I am looking for - something along the 6-7 quart size with a removable dish.

I'll eventually get a small 1 1/2 quart one for oatmeal as well. ( real oatmeal, pinhead oats )
