But you don't know how nostalgic I am about big serial line printers which spit reams of paper print jobs out faster than an industrial xerox machine. :-)

That's stunning. I have had a thing about water fountains & displays after seeing the fountains at the Bellagio in Vegas - unexpectedly one of the most moving things i've ever seen.

Now, fi someone could combine water displays and fireworks... ;)
