We were talkin9g about horror movies and the subject of Ulli Lommel came up. She said that she loved his movies.

Yeah, I don't think I could stick JAK Jr into a vat of stupid that actually liked anything made by the dipshit responsible for "Zombie Nation".

That still doesn't answer Sio's question though - does she know they're awful and love them for it, or does she think they're actually good quality films?

I could cheerfully hang out with someone who reads Danielle Steel when they feel like doing some literary slumming. It would give me pause if they actually thought her books were any good.

Lately, Lommel's been doing fifth rate shite VERY loosely based off "popular" serial killers like the BTK, Green River and Zodiac.

She actually believed his version of the Black Dahlia murder was 'factual'.

I admit it. I liked The Devonsville Terror and The Boogeyman ( the 1980 one, not the newer one ). Those count as 'fun' bad movies. But I can't think of anything he's done since the early 80s which wasn't in the "I want my 90 minutes of life back, you bastard!" category.
