A question for those who still hold onto the belief that the neocons haven't been fucking the country relentlessly in every orifice possible ( and cutting open some new ones when the existing ones get too loose ):

When was the last time that the Canadian Dollar was equal to the US Dollar? (As it is now.)
When was the last time the Canadian Dollar was worth MORE than the US dollar? (As it was yesterday)

I will point out that a weak dollar as compared to other nations currency is GOOD for US exports as our goods sell for less to them and they thus have a better deal. Sucks to be a US tourist but frankly we need to reverse the trend of US industry going elsewhere.

That would be true in regards to a country we SELL more than we buy from.

Remember, we BUY a hell of a lot of raw materials from the great white north.

Bush is going to use this as an excuse to legalize stripmining Alaska or something.
