The Trail of Tears wasn't really all that bad. Not really.

This hits close to home. I'm a Native American, and people forget what was done to us and brush it off like nothing happened. No, disease ridden blankets were not distributed to the Natives in an attempt to lower thier numbers and wipe them out. There were no Whites that were told to shoot redskins on site.

Granted, I'm not saying that we need to be repaid for these events, we just need to remember them. If we remember them there is a chance we will learn from the events. If we learn from the events there is a chance we will not be doomed to repeat them.

Don't get me started on the people who say immigrants should all go home.
