There was never a Song of the South disney movie.

This hits close to home. I'm a Native American, and people forget what was done to us and brush it off like nothing happened. No, disease ridden blankets were not distributed to the Natives in an attempt to lower thier numbers and wipe them out. There were no Whites that were told to shoot redskins on site.

Granted, I'm not saying that we need to be repaid for these events, we just need to remember them. If we remember them there is a chance we will learn from the events. If we learn from the events there is a chance we will not be doomed to repeat them.

I think there's a difference between editing history, and editing something you're re-airing today. There's a difference between being an adult and considering something in its historical context, and being a kid and watching a cartoon showing smoking as cool.

On the other hand, it seems like it might be better just to pick something else to air. Fucking with someone else's creative product is kinda lame.
