Goddamned gremlins!

Okay, I was tinkering with my 'flying monkey' and managed to somehow short something. Fried the SIM card AND the micro-SD card.

In other words ... I lost almost all my contacts because my dumb ass also managed to wipe the backup I had on my 'puter.
