First they take the black beret away from the rangers and give it to every active duty army soldier. This they claim was to promote esprit d'corps amongst the rank and file troops. Yeah, that makes sense. Let's take away a badge of accomplishment and courage from some of the best trained soldiers in the world and give it to every pencil pusher and slop slinger.

Now they're doing away with every dress uniform but one, the dress blue. Supposedly they are doing this to save soldiers money as this way they only have to have one dress uniform.

BULLSHIT!

The Army Dress Blues are only required for spcial occassions! There's no REQUIREMENT to have one (unless you're an officer). Enlisted soldiers took pride in obtaining one for their wedding or other special occassion. But we can't have special things in the army.

The Class A greens easily set us apart from the other branchs. It also made having the Blues that much more special. Now, like the black beret, it'll be nearly meaningless.

Thank you Bushco's SotA and DOD. What will you take away next? Are the airborne and air assault emblems next thing to be given to EVERYONE? Or will it be the baby blue insignia borders of the Infantry? Will someone who shoots the minimum accuracy on the range going to be able to wear the expert tab?

SWEET FUCKING HELL!!!

EDIT --- It makes my blood boil imagining how many sets of FUNCTIONAL body armour could've been purchased with the money spent on the "research" for this decision.
