A long evening with Lewis Black
Tonight, my roomie and I saw Mr. Black and John Bowman on their Buffalo leg of the Rules of Enragement tour. I have to say that I haven't laughed that hard in ages. After the show, we stood in line patiently to get my swag signed and I told both gentlemen that if they weren't in a hurry and wanted to stop out for a few drinks, they were more than welcome at the club where I work as a bouncer.
You know, one of these days I am going to remember that when I invite celebrities out after shows, they tend to show up.
Lewis, John and two of their friends actually popped into the Continental after they performed at the Riveria Theater tonight.
I had to rush back up to the cage and get their cover back (I invited them out. Wouldn't have been right to have them pay the cover.) and then go tell the bartenders to charge them my price for drinks. I'm so glad J.P. was there as well. He played Host while they were at the club.
Sadly, I really didn't get to talk to Lewis very much as I was working security for both floors. But they seemed to enjoy themselves while they stayed.
