I'd be laughing my ass off right now if it wasn't so .... yeah. Words fail me.

NYC formally renounces the unconstitutional Patriot Act laws.

Doesn't that say something people? The city who's dead and wounded were exploited and trod upon to pass that evil piece of legislature has renounced it.

Now if only people will WAKE THE FUCK UP before NOVEMBER.

Go and register people. When you've registered, make sure you go and fucking vote! I formally declare that anyone who complains to me about the president but then tells me they didn't vote will be punched in the throat and then have their mouth used as a urinal.

Too true.

That's good news. And I'm voting - no worries there! :D I even got in on time to vote over the internet in the MI Democratic Caucus.

The thing is... how does someone vote when they see things this way? And I'm asking this honestly, and in some regards, it's hypothetical:

Bush: Evil. A bad man. Needs to be out of office.

Dem. candidate: Also evil, in different ways. Not someone who you can put your support behind. Not someone you see as a decent president, or someone who can better the nation. [this is obviously something that remains to be seen, based on who the candidate is.]

Third-party candidate: Not evil, but understanding that the way things work here, a vote for a 3rd party is essentially a vote for Bush, given liberal leanings...

What does one do when their conscience doesn't allow them to vote in favour of either major-party candidate?

That's how we got ourselves into this mess. We allowed the puppetmasters behind both the Dems and Reps to make us believe there are only two parties.

The only wasted vote is the vote not cast.
