It's so hot that the only way to make it bearable was to keep both the front and back doors open, leaving only the screendoors locked.

So of course my ass fell asleep with the doors like that and I woke up from a nightmare absolutely sure someone had broken in and was IN the house.

I don't know what would've scared an intruder more. The fact that I was armed within 10 seconds on regaining consciousness or the fact that I was buck-ass naked while checking the house.

Sometimes when the noises of Allen st wake me up, I think someone is in my apartment. I promptly get the knife our from under my pillow and check the apartment. Naked.

That's the only way to meet an intruder. It's either the size of your gun or the size of your gun that'll scare away a intruder.
