No, I refuse to believe I am coming down with strep two days before I start a new job and three before I'm supposed to drive to Buffalo.

No, it's just spring sniffles. It CAN'T be strep. Just because I ache in every joint, have phlegm that would choke a otyugh, and feel like I'm inhaling fishhooks with each breath doesn't mean it's strep.

Oh no, don't worry. It's probably just the flu instead. Drink tons of water and get lots of rest, that's all you can do if that's the case.

Get well soon! (Unfortunately, those well-wishes may be in vain...the strain of flu going around these days are kind of persistent...it took me a few weeks to fully get over it. I had the same symptoms, except the joint aches.)

Yeah, it could be Mono, too! My sis just got tested for strep (she's exceptionally prone to it), and her culture came back negative. Now the doc is sending her for blood tests to check for Mono. Greaaaat.

My brain is telling me they were in the pit of "abandoned" monsters depicted in a certain story arc of Order of the Stick, but I dunno if I want to paw through them all again to find out. (I don't actually own any D&D books, *gasp*)
