I do not believe anyone could have a hankering for goat. Years ago, during a dark period when I wasn't veg, I tried goat curry. Even though it was in a delicious curry sauce, the goat was tough and gamey as all get out. I only ate it since goats are one of my two totem animals. I guess I wanted to be able to say I had the spirit of the goat inside me. :P (Monkeys being the other totem...and, no, I never ate monkey)
not a goat fan but stout.. I have a favorite stout its called a Russian Imperial stout and was primarily brewed in the late imperial russian years by the english to impress the russians with their dark beers. I beleive it has a hint of chocolate and coffee two then exotic new flavors for beer. Doesnt have much of a bite like you would expect from ow say a guiness. Heres alink to my favorite brands
Heres the reviews Old Rasputin being my favorite of corse takes top rateing. http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/392/1128/ http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/112/412/
Heres links to the companies http://www.northcoastbrewing.com/ for Old Rasputin http://www.weyerbacher.com/ for Old Heathen
These two domestic companies brew some of the best beers I have ever had now imports are a whole different story but I tend not to want to get as serious as the english and german import brands get you can just tell by looking at the bottles the difference in personalities ow Old Rasputin next to Holy Grain Ail has the coolest label ever

They didn't cook it right. And/or it was probably an old billy.
Young goat is much like venison but a bit more oily.
