Norton Antivirus and Vista
So I received a new laptop for school ...
Upside ... cheap
Downside ... comes with Vista installed
Downside the Second ... comes with Norton Internet Security installed
Some of you know my opinion of Norton. The quad-damned piece of shite only makes a *cough* mediocre at best antivirus because it's more insidious and viral than anything the worst "cyber-terrorist" could come up with.
I've tried three times to uninstall the friggin herpes of a program. It'll only uninstall enough to make it so there's error messages when I start up the machine.
And friggin Vista is claiming I "need permission" to delete the Norton folder. Permission I can't seem to get even though I am the only user.
Yeah, if I ever meet "Norton" ... I'm so going to bugger him with melonseed killing red hot poker.
