Yeah, I've seen about umpteen different configurations of them now. A lot of people keep crowing about how great they are and how vivid a picture they give.
I don't see it.
No, seriously, I don't see a difference. With my oddly-fucked vision the way it is, I don't see a difference between old school screens and HD.
So, for me at least, the only benefit for an HD screen is that they are lighter and less bulky.
The only selling point for HD-DVD (rip) and Blu-Tooth is the storage space.
All that makes for some fun times when the jackass at Best Buy doesn't get the hint after 30 seconds that he's wasting his time trying to sell me on any of that shit.
Don't get me wrong. I love when someone who works in a store actually helps me find what I need. but when someone starts trying to sell me something simply because they'll get a commission or because it's part of the store "sales program" ... time for the fun to begin.
