PSA for kilted type people
Be cautious when dealing with the company known as Sport Kilt. I purchased a new kiltbelt through them as my old one doesn't fit anymore (It's too big now. And I didn't want to add new holes too it.)
* First strike - The webstore is borked. Upon checking out, it refused my purchase stating there was a
duplicate transaction.
* Second Strike - The customer service rep I called gave me this line "Oh, don't worry about that. It happens all the time with that software. I'll just take your order over the phone." DING DING DING ... major warnings there. Why would you use a shopping cart system that fails so often that you have become desensitized to it?
* Third strike - It was not SHIPPED until two weeks after I ordered it. I just got a letter from FedEx today stating it'd been picked yesterday and should be on my doorstep tomorrow. Ummm, hello? Two weeks to ship an item that the service rep told me WAS in stock?
Yeah, definately not going to be shopping through them again. I'm all for giving companies second chances. But when the FIRST order is that screwed up, that counts as the first and second chance. It's basically the same thing as someone not showing up for work on the first day of a new job. BAD JUJU there.
Congratulations Sport Kilt. You're now in the same category as New Egg.
