A call for (spiritual) help ...

Frankly I don't care what divine power you believe in. But if you all could pray/chant/smudge/whatever for my mom ...

She had a mammogram just before Christmas. Everything looked fine.
She went to the doc again last week because she found a lump.
They did a biopsy on Friday. She finally told us about all this saturday.
Last night, I got the call.

Malignant. And spreading fast. It's gone from not detectable to being in both breasts AND her lymph nodes in less than a month.

She's having a radical mastectomy done. They'll be removing the affected lymph nodes as well.

I keep trying to tell myself that a LOT of women survive this nowadays. I'm trying to stay positive for my folks, my siblings and their kids.

But the fact that it spread so far so fast has me terrified.
