I got back from my afternoon errands ( the chiropractor(1) - I don't know how I managed so many years without having insurance which pays for me to get 26 alignments a year as "general health maintainence"; the vet - set up an appointment to get the monsters chipped and have the six month flea shot(2) done; and the pharmacy to pick up my meds ... yeah busy afternoon ) to find a HUGE box on my front porch(3)

And I honestly was confused. I KNOW I didn't order another case. And I didn't think the order I had sent out for the motherboard and cpu would be in THAT big of a case. ;-)

I had totally forgotten that he had told me he was sending me out one of his "old" systems. I've not booted it up yet but I wager it is better than what I was using before.

(1) Gods! How I love Biofreeze! She gave me a trial roll-on to use during my shifts now that I'm on the casino floor for 10+ hours a night. I'm buying a full size roll-on the next visit. It's working wonders for my back and knee.

(2) Has anyone any experience with the six month flea shot for cats?

(3) I love living in a city that is small enough where it's actually SAFE for packages to be left on the front porch and no one will touch it except your neighbor who will leave a note on the door and move it inside her house if it starts raining hard. Yes, we do that kind of thing here.
