(no subject)

Took my oldest nephew to see the Yu Gi Oh movie tonight after dinner. I think this is why I am favorite uncle to a lot of my nieces and nephews. I know all the cool toys and games and when the "coolest" (in their opinion) movies are coming out.

Of course none of them like my taste in music :-P

It was a good way to cap the Friday the 13th off. A much better way than simply getting drunk and wondering how my sister can be falling apart so fast. Her latest series of medical tests gives her a THIRD thing to deal with now. (- In recent months she's been diagnosed with Von Willebrand disease AND Graves' Disease. -)

The damned fool is as hard headed as I am when it comes to doctors. She'd been bleeding out for months. The only reason she even had any tests taken is because her daughter was diagnosed with VWD as well.

Family Reunion tomorrow ... ooof

BTW for those keeping track ... Family Reunion is of my birth mother's family. The sister and niece with VWD is my adopted sister. The nephew is the adopted son of the only surviving biological child of my adoptive parents.

Yeah, my family is confusing.
