If we're supposed to be checking in two hours before the flight due to the heightened terrorist threat (gods I can't even TYPE that with a straight face) then why was there no one manning the NorthWest counter to check us in until less than an hour before the flight?
That was my first indication that this was going to be a cunt of a trip.
Made it to Detroit safely ... spent some time in the online cafe drinking some lovely cocktail called "Lady in Red" while I read my email. Oh if only the day went just as well.
As we were friggin BOARDING the damned plane up to TC we were told that there had been a change in plane and we'd have to go to another concourse.
HELLLLO?!?!?
Okay Northwest ... friggin don't change planes AFTER you start boarding. If you do, make sure you know what type of plane you're transferring people to, They started seating from the rear, rows 9-16 ... in a plane with only 11 rows.
GAHHHH!!!
ah well, I am back in the winter wonderland and looking forward to a relaxing time with the folks and the various incarnations of the family units.
