Artistic license + she never really saw me often when she wasn't suffering from the inebriation that the pirates and I inflicted on her.

She was running from memory. I did correct her in that she forgot to add the bandana headwrap that I was almost never without AND the 4" goatee.

And the muttonchops are more along the lines of Hellboy, not Elvis. :-P
