i got almost the exact same message, with a similar exchange about not knowing each other, yesterday from a "tyrannical salmon". i'm not even joking a little. i wrote it off as a mistake yesterday, but now my red flags are up. fucking weird.

I think some people are just severely impaired in self-entertainment. I'm put in mind of the crank calls I occasionally get where the person calls me, then pretends to be on a bad phone (very quiet) and then supposedly moves around the house looking for a better line while I hang on the line like a sucker. At least I only got suckered by that one twice. I just can't grok how that would be funny to anyone.
