Went to see Corpse Bride last minute with
ain9el and two of his coworkers.
I quite enjoyed the film. I know it'd be impossible to keep the flavour of the folk tale he lifted it from. After all it's a folktale from the lore of russian jews. And those stories are more bleak and morose than the most angsty of the darkitiest darkest goth. Besides, no one would go see it if he did it as the story originally plays out.
And now I'm having a laugh riot verbally bitchslapping the jackasses (both male and female) who think Burton should make an "alternate ending" on the DVD.
Some of the best parts of the evening were not on the screen though.
popcorn bukkake
"Well I needed a shower anyway."
me - "Just as long as it's not a gold one."
"I like gold."
( silence then all three of us laughing because the fourth has no idea what she was saying )
"What? what?"
Eveytime I meet some of his coworkers it makes me realize that
ain9el is the most normal person there.
