Usually any actor who's a staple of Entertainment Tonight or other brainless bottomdweller chow will push me AWAY from a movie. That being the case you'd think having Halle Berry and Penelope Cruz star in this flick would make it so I'd NEVER see this thing. Fortunately I was outvoted for Movie NIght and we went to see GOTHIKA tonight.
This was the type of movie I enjoy. Slow burn, little gore and most of it not "center-stage", plus a plot that actually steered me away from the bad-guy for more than a few moments.
I only had four problems that slapped me in the face:
( spoilers abound )
other than that ... loved it quite a lot.

BRILLIANT!!!
I love TOPS International. It always amuses me seeing the korean college students freaking out when I am in the same aisle as them picking out my wasabi coated roasted snow peas (one of my favorite snacks), red pepper tuna and Nyong Shim ramen. It's not quite the same effect I get when I am shopping at Sun Grocery on the boulevard but it's still funny.
I can't be the only "white man" in Buffalo who likes spicy food and speaks/writes korean but damned if most of them act liike I am.
