my objection to those shows isn't the flagrant pussy-boy personas, my objection is that, just as women are subconsciously (and sometimes consciously) told that they need to look a certain way, shows like that just try to make us men feel bad about ourselves, like we are somehow inherently inadequate as we are, like we can't dress ourselves and don't know how to live our lives.
