Add to this the number of women who directly and aggressively target married men to hit on, and the number of men and women who decidedly believe that singular events (marriage, pregnancy, childbirth, criminal conviction, etc) would actually cause someone to fundamentally change their behaviour and philosophy and beliefs... and I get the notion humanity is a uniquely gifted species when it comes to irrational deception of self.
