Fever Dreams (written friday night)

razorjakSo I'm home tonight instead of working as am fighting the flu AND tonsilitus (whatever the hell that is - thought tonsils come out when they are to that stage? )
Have been in and out of consciousness for only a few moments from thursday morning till this evening. Gotta love the delerium induced by a high grade fever.:
There were a multitude of blankets pillows and sheets on the bed; Far more than exist in the house and probably in the block as well. They were balled up and positioned all askew on the bed. Somehow I knew that the bed was a time machine and each wad of fabric was the entryway to another time period.
What made matters worse was that everytime I woke up, I swear the time on the clock was going backwards. So even though I was only in bed ( sweating my ass off )
The other delightful things about this whole thing is I think the damned medication is ripping a hole in my stomach.
