Bullet updates -

* Back home in Michigan ... yay?

* Folks have cable internet now, after I drove 50 miles to pick up the modem and drive 50 miles back. through pre-cherry festival/4th of July weekend traffic ... I never wanted the "If it's called Tourist Season; Why can't we shoot them?" bumpersticker more.

* Mum is doing better (sorta). She's REALLY gone downhill from last year. But she's better than she was last week according to my brother.

* They've isolated the cause of the liver damage. I think I'm going to go hunt down and harvest the livers of a few Pfizor employees for bringing Lipitor(tm) to the market. ( No, not the chemists who developed the drug. I'll hunt down those in marketing who pushed it into production before it was ready and safe. ) If you work in marketing for Pfizor and are in anyway a compatible donor. Pray I don't find you. Trust me. I'll be able to keep you alive long enough to suit my plans.

* The docs want to do a liver biopsy before they put her on the list for those waiting on a donor. THIS WILL CHANGE before I come back to Buffalo.

* Still coughing out Buffalo air. I swear, I'm sick the first few days I come back home and the first few days just from the different quality of air between here and there.

* Folks are spending ludricous amounts of money, as usual. I now own a pair of these simply because mum overheard me talking about how my knees have been giving me problems again. I could've bought a pair of New Rocks for less than what these cost. They look a little goofy. (I've never worn heeled combat boots before) But DAMN are they comfortable and I immediately felt the difference in my knees and back.

* Introduced my folks to the joys of Lewis Black.

* I'll be back next weekend. Originally was going to try to get back to Buffalo on the 7th. But that's not going to happen due to the OVERWHELMING congestion up in TC and my folks wouldn't be able to drive me down to GR for the morning bus. I'll be pulling into Buffalo at about 5am Saturday morning (the 9th). Adjust your schedules accordingly bitches.

* Walked about 8 miles today just checking out what all has changed in my hometown.
