Students threatened with expulsion ...
The students of the school in Richland County, WI where the Commander in Thief appeared yesterday were threatened that any student wearing ANY pro Kerry or anti Bush items during his visit would be expelled.
Surprise surprise ... Rachel Schultz, the superintendent of Richland Center School District in Wisconsin (where students were told not to wear any Kerry regalia during Bush's visit), is married to Dale Schultz, Republican candidate for Congress in the 3rd Congressional District in Wisconsin.
At least we can be thankful that each and every student wasn't forced to sign a loyalty oath, right?
Bush's handlers don't want him seeing just how many can't stand him. They want him to actually believe the lies they feed him daily. In his reality, everyone is republican except for small pockets of resistance.
EDIT: turns out the same school district 'outlawed' pro Kerry items when the candidate made a visit earlier in the campaign. I've not found out whether any Bush fans were scolded for wearing Repugnican items.

Re: I want a GOOD third party to vote for!
But in any case, I can definitely say I am disturbed by two things this year:
1) The notion that voting for anyone other than Kerry and Bush is wrong or wasted or akin to supporting Bush or Kerry. People should vote for who they want to be president and anyone nay saying voting for your best candidate should be looked at suspiciously.
2) The notion that Republicans and Democrats are representative of Americans and their body of opinions. It is very clear that the two primary parties have converged on almost all topics - and as a result it is also clear neither of them represents the center leaning majority of Americans. This election proves that Republicans and Democrats are now the puppets of vocal minorities who seek to reshape America to suit their fanatical means.
