Students threatened with expulsion ...

The students of the school in Richland County, WI where the Commander in Thief appeared yesterday were threatened that any student wearing ANY pro Kerry or anti Bush items during his visit would be expelled.

Surprise surprise ... Rachel Schultz, the superintendent of Richland Center School District in Wisconsin (where students were told not to wear any Kerry regalia during Bush's visit), is married to Dale Schultz, Republican candidate for Congress in the 3rd Congressional District in Wisconsin.

At least we can be thankful that each and every student wasn't forced to sign a loyalty oath, right?

Bush's handlers don't want him seeing just how many can't stand him. They want him to actually believe the lies they feed him daily. In his reality, everyone is republican except for small pockets of resistance.

EDIT: turns out the same school district 'outlawed' pro Kerry items when the candidate made a visit earlier in the campaign. I've not found out whether any Bush fans were scolded for wearing Repugnican items.

Come on Jak, it doesn't need to be some grand conspiracy. More like, the school superintendent is on a power trip like so many school superintendents that consider photo's of firearms as being firearms, plastic knifes the same as 4" bowie knives, and certain basic forms of religious expression to be disruptive.

I suspect that if Bush can stand to be in the room with the poodle three times in a row, he can stand a few students that wear a 'Lectroids for President shirt.

My understanding is many of the Bush rallies have been carefully screened and managed in this way.

I find it disturbing at best.

Then again, I've heard rumours that Kerry has also stacked the deck in his favour whenever he is in public.

The whole darn system down to the media coverage is rigged. I want a third party to vote for!
