(no subject)

One of the benefits of being a buffet lunch in regards to my political stances is having such a diverse group of people with whom I actually call friends.

One of the downsides is that I could never invite all my friends over for a cookout even if I had the space to do so.

It'd be akin to trying to have a mixer between the Black Panthers and the KKK.

Could you imagine what the day after such a party would be like? Filling out claim forms at my home owner's insurance office.

A little planning ahead takes care of the after-party anxiety. Simply sell tickets for the event ahead of time at the local redneck watering hole. Make mention that you've invited some local politicos, make some vague promises of appearances by some random, former-NASCAR crew chief and entourage, and close with the possibility of police with water cannon. For extra points, tell 'em it's BYOB. You may pick-up some interesting keepers from the debris afterwards.

I hear ya.

Oh come on, I wouldn't run down any of your commie friends with the ferret unless I was severely provoked. ;-) And I'd do what I could not to hit your house. Its quote maneuverable. :-D

Remember that bacon icecream you were talking about?
Put it in there.

I saw those early this morning and was thinking about sending you that link. Not Martha is a great site.

Actually I was talking with Dennis this morning about those. I told him you'd probably cream when first seeing them.

MY idea of a good use for them is as the serving container for my spicy cheesy meat muffins. Using muffin tins, I cook cupcake sized meatloaves stuffed with hot peppers and cheese. I figure that placing a meat muffin in each of those bacon cups just before serving, and icing the top with a thick tomato glaze would make for a nice lil dish.
