RIP my good friend ( 1984 -2006 )

The amazing crow I've spoken of a few times here and elsewhere has left the building.

I don't know what the lifespan of crows in the wild tend to be. But this bird first came into our lives while I was still in junior high. So we're talking over two decades people.

Goodbye Dracula. You will be missed.

much sympathy. it sounds like he had a really good life, though.

Well I personally have hit 3 decades now, but I hear that's rare.

Seriously though, much sympathy. You named him Dracula? I so love you for that! Have a Happy 4th, regardless...

I wanted to hear me call me a dumbell one more time. The time I saw him he was stil;l a spry bird for being over 20.

You think Sarge had personality, this crow had personality.

So sorry to hear of this. These moments are one of the downsides of inviting an animal companion into your life; but it sounds to me like he left you with a rich store of good memories also.
