i used to build snow penises! when i was in my teens i used to take great delight in constructing them when no one was around, in unexpected places. i once walked out into the middle of the ice on the river to build one. years later, my dad mentioned having seen it while skiing and laughed, but i didn't confess.

Colour me completely unsurprised.

heh. i used to enjoy that sort of thing - creating stuff to make public places more interesting. i miss it, and am now considering the possibilities offered by geurilla gardening.

when i was a senior in high school, some of the guys built a snow penis in the courtyard of our school.

it wasn't 17' tall, though.
