Unpatriotic?

Some jackass, still wet behind the ears, emailed me and stated in less than polite terms that I am nonpatriotic and should be ashamed that I talk ill about Shrubby McFuckstick and his puppetmasters and he wanted to know where I get off doing so.

This little ass was in primary school during the Gulf War and only remembers the jingoist propaganda afterwards.

That is one of the few things that can cause me to lose my cool. Some sniveling little young republican who's never worn a uniform, except maybe at JROTC before it became "too intence", having the gall to call me unpatriotic ... It just amazes me that some little fuck who's voice didn't even think about cracked until LONG after I left the service ... GAHHH

Over fifteen years ago, I swore an oath. That oath was to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic. Though circumstances beyond my control forced me to take off the uniform years before I had planned; that oath is still burned in my heart.

THAT is why I oppose the current administration. THAT is why I am doing everything in my power to make sure they are voted out this November.

You neocons who want to call me unpatriotic can come talk to me when you have more nuthair than I have service stripes.

The last time someone questioned my patriotism to my face was at the club. The only reason he wasn't hospitalized was because he was the cousin of one of the bartenders AND other coworkers were there and freaked a bit when they saw me lose my "friendly face".

the time before that was on campus ... you may remember that lil incident where I wondered if the lil fuck would call the cops on me fr "assaulting" him.

Some idiot was actually stupid enough to try to "insult" me with one of the famous lines from Fherenheit 9/11

"Would you volunteer to send you son to die in Iraq?"

"My son is only 3, moron. But I *DID* volunteer to send myself.....what have *YOU* sacrificed for your beliefs?"

".....uhm....."

"Thought so. Now piss off."

Heh - yeah it does seem to work for both ends of the idiot scale.

an old motto: Even if I agree 100% with their basic idea, I will never support a fanatic.

Start carrying a copy of your DD214. When you pull that out, you'd be amazed how many people shut up.

Tru dat.

Man, hadn't even thought of that.
I'm looking for a little hat-pin sized OIF Vet pin. If it's nice enough, I'll ask the chief to let me wear it at work.

When they say that shit to me while trying to paint W as the devil and Clinton as a saint, I calmly reply "Well, you know old Clinton didn't sign Chelea up to go to Somalia, now did he?"

W isn't the devil ... if anything he's Faust.

Clinton wasn't a saint. But better him fucking a fat slob in the oval office than W's puppetmasters fucking Lady Liberty and the whole country.
