Well, if he's vomiting blood, then that could very well be the case.

Granted, vomiting blood, just by itself, would probably be a very bad thing.

When one pukes, the opening to the stomach and part of the esophogus expands to 3-5 times its normal size. If one pukes enough times in close succession, particularly to where one is at the point of dry heaves, the repeated expansion can actually create small tears in the lining of the esophogus and the result it puking up blood.

It's really freaky seeing that for the first time.

i've never done that, and i am the worldwide queen of puke. i can puke for about 7 hours straight if i drink water between heaves.

Yikes! I hope you feel better. There is some nasty virus going around Bflo right now...but your symptoms don't sound like you have that.
