A little annoyance ...

When did BISEXUAL come to mean LESBIAN?

Seems that 9 out of every 10 profiles you see on any site like bondage.com or alt.com will have halfwitted "females" stating in capital letters that they are bisexual but are only interested in women. Hell in one profile I actually saw the fucktard say (verbatum) "I'm Bisexual. That means women only."

If you're going to label yourself ... at least use one that fits. Saying you're bisexual but only into women is like saying your jewish but are against circumcision and love pork.

*sigh* the problem with the ability of everyone being able to use the net is just that ... ANYONE can use the net.

This rant was fueled by one of my local friends who is trying to find me someone because she thinks I'm pining away since the breakup with PBS. She sent me a link to a profile thinking she'd be a good one for me but didn't read the "fineprint"

I hate people sometimes.

hmm... interesting... any time that i have felt some need to qualify the bisexual label (which isn't often), i have said that i tend to prefer relationships with men... i've never interpreted the label to mean lesbian but i have avoided labeling myself in the past to people i felt were too uneducated to fully grasp or accept the meaning of bisexuality... there have been people in my past that thought it automatically meant i was into group sex, multiple partners and sharing partners... pure stupidity.

in my friend's profile she states that she is bisexual but only looking for women. this is because she's married and gets all the penis she needs. maybe some are like that?
or stupid.

She's got it.

These women are presuming the reader knows that, of course, they already have Real Relationships.
"Bisexual" in this context is code for "just want to fool around with someone who is in no way a threat to my Real Life". Or, "interested in not being serious." It's meant to screen out men and lesbians both.
yuck.

Those I can understand ... it's the ones who actually state " I'm bisexual - that means NO MEN!" in their profile. Rampant stupidity like that irks me to no end.

Jak,
I was just surfing through LJ and had to say something. I think that some people are just stupid. It makes it very easy to hate them and you can only wish that Darwin catches up with the dolts.

I think that dating now would be much easier if every one labeled what they want instead what they think they are. Wouldn't it make it much simpler if they wore a 'wanting hard dick for the night' or 'wanting to create a pyscho drama with a man until he turns queer' t-shirts. The whole thing gets even crazier when you throw into gender challenged individuals.

I never did the ad things however I did have to sort out similar idiots in person when I was single/ dating. Then again I don't want a moron with in arm reach of me regardless of their breast size.

"Then again I don't want a moron with in arm reach of me regardless
of their breast size. "

Which seperates us from the men who think with their cocks. I personally have never understood the concept of wanting a "cute but dumb" girlfriend. I want someone who won't have to keep a notebook next to her so she can jot down and look up the words I say that she doesn't understand.(1)

I will never make the mistake of dating an idiot again. If I do make such a mistake - I give you all clear permission to castrate me.

(1) Yes, PBS was that type of girl. In EVERY conversation with her I'd have to stop and define some NORMAL word I happened to use. It got to the point I told her that I am not going to do that anymore. She'd just have to start carrying a notebook around with her.
