Y'know, I wonder how many other people immediately thought of the Angel Retrovirus when the tomato salmonella outbreak started showing up in national news.

Yup, Something along the lines of 230+ cases involving illness and at least one death that might be attributed to complications.

Last I heard, they still haven't even located a general origin spot ... let alone pinpointed a precise ground zero.

FDA warning regarding consumption of red round, roma and cherry tomatoes ...

Many national chains stopped serving raw tomato products until just recently.
