Greenspan was, as I recall, the fellow who cheerfully backed Bush's original tax cuts. He's also happily cheered on everything the Bush junta has done since. People listen to him, and he's another asswad who held his tongue when he might've made a difference and is only speaking out now that he's safely retired.
