A friend of mine made this observation.

Now that a lot of airports are mandating ALL electronics be put in checked baggage instead of carry-on ...

What do you think the chances of TSA contractors opening up eBay accounts en masse?

It's not the rules. But that has never stopped the TSA goons from going overboard. And wouldn't put it past them to do so.

Supposedly they're not banning liquids on checked luggage either. But I've already relayed the one incident I know of where they HAVE done so.
