Silly people, don't you know that paying off your credit card debt makes corporations cry? Don't you know being financially responsible helps the terrorists?
This is probably one of many bits of the Patriot Act that somehow makes us safer by allowing the federal government more access to our lives and our finances. The "Know Your Customer" bill and the Digital Telephony Act are another example of this kind of crap.
Oh, but if they wanted to SPEND $6500 on their JC Penny card I'm pretty sure no flags would go up on that one... afterall, bomb making materials are pretty cheap.
Wow. I just paid off my credit card using my line of credit cause the credit line has a lower interest rate. Oddly enough, my credit card company hasn't called to demand why. I'd be appalled if they did.
