Achtung! Duh y'all have yo papers?

"I know a lot of people are concerned about Big Brother, but my response to that is, if you are not doing anything wrong, why should you worry about it?" Chief Harold Hurtt told reporters Wednesday at a regular briefing.

Houston's police chief on Wednesday proposed placing surveillance cameras in apartment complexes, downtown streets, shopping malls and even private homes ...

And all this just a month before V for Vendetta gets it's first showing over here...

Christ.

It is really getting to a point where leaving this country isn't just something that people say because they disagree with things -- it will become a necessity if you would like any sort of freedom whatsoever.

Unbelievable.

Maybe people -- regardless of wrongdoing -- don't want their every move recorded and analyzed?

Sure, I don't have a problem with this proposal, as long as the first homes with the equipment installed are Chief Hurt's home, his office, and the mayor and city council's offices. After all, we need to prevent corruption.

Y'know, as nonchalant as I'd like to be about how boring my life is. If some douchebag is going to watch me masturbating, I want to get paid for it.

yeah, i was going to say i guess masturbating/running around naked/other such things are "wrong" if i happen to not want someone watching.

The high temperature today in Winnipeg is currently 14F.
It hit -45F last week.

I'd suggest Toronto instead.

This is why I love you even if we have divergent views on many things.

Actually my math was slightly off - the temperature was -45C which is -49F, so that's 82Fahrenheit below freezing.

Which is why Canadians think Torontonians are pussies for complaining about -15 centigrade (0F).
