(no subject)

I think I may be setting myself up for a fall.

I've only spent three nights on the floor so far. In those three nights I've been written up twice(*), have had other officers saying, "Damn good eyes" and have had tribal police come up to me and say. "Good call on that one."

How long can I keep that up?

When is the other shoe going to drop?

Yes, I'm a pessemist. I'm used to livfe only getting good long enough for me to start getting used to it.

(*) Written up in a good way. Supervisors from other departments have noticed me doing over and above.

Sorry about the bad lighting for these shots. It's an overcast day.

The house I'm living in now has been vacant for a few years. Much to my surprise (and joy) there are quite a few flowers shooting up along the house and my front yard is littered with these gorgeou lil purple flowers.

I've a few flower/plant fans among my friends. Does anyone know what these exactly?

I'm assuming the ones growing wild in my front yard, side yards and the back are a type of violet.
