Didn't he learn from his segue incident to not try to pilot anything more complicated than shoes which have the L and R painted on them?

One of the joys of having interesting occupations in the family dating back generations is finding strange and amusing things when emptying out properties.

I now have three brown glass apothecary jars dating from either the 1890s or the 1900s. According to their labels, they once contained Tincture of Belladonna, Digitalis Leaves (defatted), and Chloroform. The labels are all in decent condition except the chloroform.

Now if only I had found the one which was labelled "Laudanum".
