Today's PSA is for those of you dolts who were actually happy when Comcast killed TechTV, raped it's still warm corpse and deposited the demonspawn G4 into it's ass to feed upon what little goodness was left after Comcast finished eviscerating what was once a great channel.

Kill yourself.

Kill yourself so your fucking braindead viewing and spending habits do not keep lining the pockets of these soulless asseaters.

Kill yourself before you pass your diseased genetic material. We do not need another generation who actually finds "Players" and "Cheat" to be quality television.

TechTV was a great channel. The soulless suckers of Mammon's pustulant gonads at Comcast be damned to the Hell in which they are used as Satan's benwa balls for what they did to TechTV.

They've gutted all the good shows. They totally dropped Call for Help immediately after the merger went public. Over the course of time they've fired all the good staff or put them under so many restrictions that they just quit.

It immediately went from a Tech orriented channel with some shows dealing with games to a Third rate game network with some lobotomized tech shows.

Hell, the only shows left from the days of TechTV are X-Play and Anime Unleashed. They tried to castrate "Unscrewed" So Martin and Co just quit. They've recently fired what good people remained on The Screen Savers.

If Comcast had ANY integrity they'd simply cut the TechTV name off the channel like they cut away what made the channel good.

that is true. I usually only watched g4 when I was way tired at 2 am and wanted to see guys fake-beat the hell out of each other. I haven't really watched the screen savers since the merger. G4 had a few good shows, but for the most part, stuff like players is just crap. Although there was a funny moment on players where Melissa Joan Hart was playing the Sabrina the Teenage Witch game and getting her ass kicked. Oh, and seeing Hal Sparks (from queer as folk) and all of his friends dress up like the characters on Gauntlet (whilst playing, of course. hal was the wizard, iirc) was just plain hiLARious. But for the most part, I really don't need to see another rapper playing some basketball or fighting game. I like to watch the nerdy stars be nerdier than nerds can be.

I was upset when we got Dish Network and I saw that TechTV wasn't on the uber-cheap entry-level package that I'd gotten. But then, I'd not had cable since before I went to Iraq, so hadn't seen the channel since the G4 rapage.
Now I'm not sad at all....I'm missing nothing.
