" It looks dated. "

Oh yeah, that was a "Must ... control ... the ... Fist of Destruction." moment.

Some third-rate Eberts need to pull their thumbs out of their asses so they can start breathing again. The methane buildup is destroying their meager braincells.

Some of the ever-so-qualified armchair movie reviewers have been naysaying the new Indiana Jones movie simply because Spielberg decided to go old school and didn't use CGI for everything (including scenery ala greenscreening) like his bosom buddy, Lucas.

These reviewers have an appointment with myself and Excalibolg. We'd like to have a discussion with them about the merits of going old school when making an epic "pulp adventure" movie.

Those fuckwits want to see what a pulp action movie looks like when it's CGI'd like they want?

Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow

They very fact that Lucas DIDN'T like that Spielberg decided for traditional effects instead of making it a CGI shlock fest like the last three Star Snore movies is a good sign.

This ALMOST makes up for his pulling a GL and "reimagining" the feds in E.T. as wielding automatic walkie-talkies.

Martin Lawrence, John Travolta, Tim Allen and William H. Macey ...

I'll take "Four people I never thought I'd see in a movie together" for a thousand, Alex.
